The refurbished two-storey building retains its strong external presence in the heart of the city, celebrating it’s warehouse history and referencing past uses of local buildings.

The grid arrangement of new windows reflect the existing glazing elements.

the upper level outdoor play areas reference this grid also, interspersed with the occasional woven wire panel, allowing visual connection to ground level activity, as well as glimpses of the surrounding urban landscape, juxtaposed to the soft, natural heart of the new centre.

Building colours within the site reflect the spirit of the centre - one of softness, play and refuge.
